WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @Taking on a World of Words. The aim is to give an update on your reading accomplishments and future plans.
The three W’s are:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Illuminae (#1) by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff || I’ve finally done it! After owning this book for years and putting it on my monthly TBR’s countless of times, I’ve finally ⬛ing read it (you see what I did there with that black square, don’t cha). And the verdict: I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Guys, I was so scared that after all this hype I would not be impressed by it, but once I was hooked, I was SO hooked… and invested… and e.m.o.t.i.o.n.a.l. This book was the ⬛ and I am so glad I finally read it.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (#7) by J.K. Rowling || Re-read || Like I mentioned last week, I’m listening to a chapter a day so that I can be sure the year starts off on a high note. So far I’ve listened to 15 chapters, so still on schedule! & Loving it obviously.
The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling || This book. This book is giving me all the conflicting feelings. The thing is, I’m completely uninvested in it and don’t have the urge to pick it up at all. I’ve barely listened to an hour of the audiobook since last week. So I should probably DNF it, right? Right. But I’m stubborn and I want to know what happens in this 14-hour-long audiobook exclusively set in a cave. What goes down in this cave?!
I’m kind of having a hard time deciding what to read. I’m a really big mood reader and am currently a bit in between moods, in the sense that I’m having a hard time finding something that really sticks. I might just have to read a few first chapters to decide. Some books that might be up next: The Chalk Man, The Shock of the Fall, or the Dead House.
These are the books I have recently read, am currently reading and plan to read next.
Have you read any of these books?
What was the last book you finished?
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!
